Acid Buffer ™ 600gr

A 100% phosphate-free buffer to achieve a lower pH. Acid Buffer ™ lowers the pH and buffer between 6.0 and 8.0 when used with Discus Buffer, for example. When Acid Buffer ™ lowers the pH, the carbonates convert calcium and magnesium (KH) into freely available CO2.
The use of Acid Buffer ™ therefore makes very good sense in a planted aquarium, where the release of CO2 will contribute to the growth of the plants. When used correctly, the water remains clear and there is no precipitation, which makes the water milky.
